Khon Kaen Thai Restaurant

I live in Lyon but I came here 4 times per year! If you are looking for traditional thai style u need to visit this restaurant. It’s my favorite place around here i love Somtom and Yum Woon sen , Laap nue or salad the beef , pad kra pao. My recommend. Feeling Thailand

Authentic Thai food and amazing service. They spoke both English and French and most probably Thai at least! The food options are large and it is also vegan friendly. It is good place for a date, family outings and small or big groups. Kids friendly too! The portions are pretty good, the quality of the food and hygiene is excellent. They are very friendly and I tend the tell everyone I know to eat at this place! The price is right and fair.

I’m part-Thai and I can without a doubt say that the food and atmosphere were very authentic and they left me quite happy. Som Tam Thai was a pretty small portion, but the (Vegetarian) Pad Thai was very generous. My only critique: Please hire one more server! Service took too long because it’s clearly understaffed EDIT: I understand now that it was because one of the servers was ill that day I will definitely consider visiting again

Genuine thai food. I go Bangkok 3 times yearly and ate lots of thai food. The food here is better than some of restaurants in Bangkok. Very surprised to find such authentic and good thai food in Europe and hope to find similar in Paris [ next stop]. The tom yum goong has lots of edible condiments/ingredients . Compared to tom yum goong in bangkok only 30 to 40% of the ingredients in the soup can be eaten. This thai restaurant is the best i ever eaten in France & Europe.

We had dinner here on Thursday evening and the restaurant was fully-booked, so I recommend to reserve a table in advance as seems very popular. Their dishes are very authentic Thai taste like I had in Thailand which is difficult to find here countryside in France. Just the price is little more expensive than another similar restaurant but still reasonable because they use beautiful Thai style dishes and good ingredients. Pity we couldn’t try many dishes as we had a late lunch, so next time we’ll surely need to be enough hungry. They have kids menu at 11€, too which have choice for main dish. Also their desserts are very nice. My husband loved his dessert so much.

Wonderful restaurant and family staff. Enjoyed the crispy veg spring rolls, chicken satay and the prawns with basil sauce. Recommend if looking for some Thai food in Evian!

I stayed in Evian for three nights and arrived in the evening. This was my first meal and I saw that it was rated much better and the other Thai place in town. I love that the host asked me if I wanted Asian or European spice, and I’m so glad I chose Asian spice because it was perfect! I ordered an extra bowl of sticky rice but it actually wasn’t sticky rice so I’m not sure if it is just mislabeled or if I got the wrong rice but it was still delicious. I didn’t get to try the noodles as planned in the next day, but would definitely come back. The host asked if I wanted coffee or dessert even though I’m pretty sure he was closed so I really appreciated that.
